Digging Deeper - Episode 6: Projects
Episode 6 of Digging Deeper looks at the Project module our Level 6 students work on. Our latest cohort of Level 6 students will soon be tackling the Project module – a two-semester research module culminating in a 10,000-word dissertation. To help those students prepare for the module, we sought perspectives from UCEM staff and students. UCEM academic delivery manager – projects, Jon Hubert, and module leader for the Undergraduate Project, Hazel Lobo, gave an overview of the Project, as well as their advice for students from a tutor’s and marker’s perspective. UCEM BSc (Hons) Real Estate Management student, Kristyna Hajkova, and BSc (Hons) Construction Management student, Gary Worthington, having recently submitted their dissertations, discussed their projects, the unique nature of the module and what they would do differently were they to do it again. UCEM PR and social media manager, Andrew Belt, asked the questions.
